Fabric Study

Fabric Study is a course that explores the properties, types, and uses of different textile materials. It covers the classification of fabrics based on fiber origin (natural, synthetic, blended), their construction methods (woven, knitted, non-woven), and their performance characteristics such as durability, texture, drape, and care requirements. Students learn how to identify fabrics, understand their behavior in garment production, and select suitable materials for specific fashion and interior design applications. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical analysis to build skills in fabric selection, handling, and maintenance.
